Yesterday I was excited to go and see the brand new Panasonic 50 Inch TV that my neighbour has just bought. I went in to check out the 3D experience and found that he just purchased 2D version to save 500 GBP. Steve next door is 45 years old and quite techi so I was very surprised as I know he could afford the extra £500 GBP.

Last week Shaun Walker the founder of DotnetNuke CMS discussed in his blog here that the core team is in the process of converting DotNetNuke from its original VB.net code base to C#. He also eluded to something I was not aware of that the original decision to use VB.NET was one of the key reasons for the early success of the open source project, as it provided Classic ASP developers with a simpler migration path to ASP.NET.

Further to FCC approval for the first “enforceable” net neutrality regulations last week. These rules face opposition from all sides, with some holding that FCC has overstepped its boundaries and others saying that the still unpublished framework does not offer enough protection. It is rather difficult to understand what Web Neutrality Means. I don’t own an Xbox to add Microsoft Kinect since I have a PS3 and an iPad for gaming. And since, I rarely play any games,- then I just don’t see the point to change platform for gaming. Since I have stopped buying physical Newspapers, I have a daily visit to my most favourite Web Locations for news. I still visit, the usual, TimesOnline, Telegraph, Gaurdian, NYtimes,  TheBuffingtonPost and so on... and I do it mainly on my iPad these days. This article that seems to have made it to a lot of TV channels too,  made me Smile with a Raised Eyebrow.
