The animation is built with images taken from the Hubble telescope, as well as the material provided with many thanks from their official sites acknowledged below. The Voyage to the Edge of the Universe is science fantasy a journey that explores the science and history behind some of the distant celestial bodies in the galaxies near and far. Whilst made with great care to ensure authenticity of the cosmological and physical laws, but a little Sci-Fi Genre is also added.

All About NASA's Curiosity Rover Mission This August: A Video Compilation All About NASA's Curiosity Rover Mission This August: A Video Compilation
By Rohina @ 02 Aug 2012 :: Article Rating
A daring NASA is all set to tour the red planet next week. Its latest Curiosity rover mission, a project worth $ 2.5bn will enter the Martian air on Monday, August 6 – when most of the world's eyeballs will be busy watching the London Olympics live in action. Apparently, the mobile Mars Science Laboratory (MSL) is expected to rise in upheaval for the rest of the geological history of our fellow planet, if only it could land safely.

Last Piece of the Standard Model discussed - The Higgs Boson Last Piece of the Standard Model discussed - The Higgs Boson
By Salar Golestanian @ 27 Jul 2012 :: Article Rating

Salaro TV presents part one of the ‘Higgs Boson’ series of episodes. In this episode we talk about the mammoth God Particle research being conducted and findings to be carried out. We bring to you part 1 of the series as we closely look on the recent announcement at CERN that – merely a new particle consistent with the Higgs Boson had been unearthed. Accordingly, I would like to put forth that the physicists at the Nuclear Research did opt neither for microscopes nor similar tools to view the Higgs Boson as it is – rather they were looking for the energy signatures of the particles in the surrounding, being created. CERN researchers utilized the signatures and standard physics to claim the discovery of the God Particle.

Key tests for Skylon space plane project has started with UK engineers have begun critical tests on a new engine technology designed to lift a space plane into orbit. The proposed Skylon vehicle would operate like an airliner, taking off and landing at a conventional runway. Reaction Engines Limited (REL) believes the test campaign will prove the readiness of Sabre's key elements.

Cern Repeats the experiment on - Neutrinos clocking faster than light Cern Repeats the experiment on - Neutrinos clocking faster than light
By Salar Golestanian @ 29 Dec 2011 :: Article Rating
It was only a few weeks ago when I talked about universal laws of physics may not be uniform across time and space. And then we had the news from CERN on faster than light Neutrinos. Now it seems that second experiment confirms the first finding and we don't have to travel too far and proof is only a few hundred miles in central Europe. The Physics shocker talked about in the last few hours is that Neutrinos are clocked faster than light itself.

To be or not to be - One Higgs boson may not be enough to be conclusive To be or not to be - One Higgs boson may not be enough to be conclusive
By Salar Golestanian @ 18 Dec 2011 :: Article Rating
It was only back in August that most Scientists at CERN thought that most probably the elusive Higgs Boson Particle does not exist. Last week the ultra-shy Higgs boson is thought to have finally shown itself at the LHC. Both of the main detectors, ATLAS and CMS, have uncovered hints of a lightweight Higgs. If this is true then, the only remaining hole in the standard model would be filled.

Just had a quick look at this book by Lee Smolin mainly because of the quote below by Gerard 't Hooft that sum up my own reservations with a lot of 'Theories of everything that is being passed around these days. The confrontation between string theory and its critics is one of the great intellectual dramas of our age.

I was intrigued the other day when I read on BBC news that there is water on Mars. The appearance of what scientists believe is flowing salt water on Mars has reignited speculation about alien life. These high-resolution images sent from NASA's orbiter show what appear to be marks left by water flowing down from Mars' rocky slopes, and a report on the findings published in the latest issue of the journal Science.

Probably this very question was the main topic prompting me to do Physics at University, the idea that other universes - as well as our own - lie within "bubbles" of space and time has received a boost. Studies of the low-temperature glow left from the Big Bang suggest that several of these "bubble universes" may have left marks on our own.

Atlantis launch on Friday morning was the last of NASA’s space shuttle flights. The event marks the end of a 30 year program that has put nearly 800 people in orbit, but I hope that it is not the end of space exploration in the United States. Companies have been engaging in a private sector space race alongside and in partnership with NASA for quite some time.

Intel's 3D tech redefines the transistor - Allowing us to Sustain Moore's Law Intel's 3D tech redefines the transistor - Allowing us to Sustain Moore's Law
By Salar Golestanian @ 05 May 2011 :: Article Rating
I recently discussed "Is Moore's Law dead? What happens if CPU speed does not keep up with our demands?" in my blog. Where doubling the number of transistors on a silicon device every two years was no longer possible. This is because the 22-nanometer limit in semiconductor substrate could not be reduced with current Transistor Technology. However, with Transistors entering the third dimension, this limit is no longer relevant as we can carry on doubling the number of transistors on a silicon device every two years in the third dimension. This is revealed in the latest news release by Intel.

Unifying gravity with the other three interactions ( the electromagnetic, weak, and strong interactions) would provide a theory of everything (TOE), rather than a GUT Grand Unified Theory. GUTs are often seen as an intermediate step towards a TOE. And now suddenly on April 6th, Mystery signal at Fermilab hints at 'technicolour' force. Last week at Tevatron collider scientists spotted evidence of new particles that might point to a previously unidentified force of nature or yet another force, "The Fifth Force"

Scottish scientists have built a 1,000-core processor, claiming that this chip could make desktop computers 20 times faster. For example, currently the fastest pc runs an Intel® Core™ i7 Processor Extreme Edition which is about 6 core.  However, Dr Wim Vanderbauwhede and colleagues at the University of Massachusetts Lowell have created a processor which effectively contains more than a thousand cores on a single chip.

A few months ago Gordon Moore stated that More Law is dead. It is nearly 40 years since the publication of his law which states the transistor density on integrated circuits double about every two years. This is quite obvious as at one point one will find we cannot build a transistor with just a small number of atoms.
